On October 26, 2023, the Chairman of the Guild of Commerce Russia-APR A.Karpov met with the Trade Commissioner of Malaysia in Russia Haifil Elmi Jamil at the Malaysian Trade Mission in Moscow to discuss issues of mutual interest within the framework of the partnership between Russia and Malaysia, as well as preparations for the 2nd meeting of the Russian-Malaysian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation (November 8-9, Kuala Lumpur).
During the conversation, questions were raised about possible options for strengthening and further developing bilateral trade, economic, scientific, technical, business and humanitarian cooperation between Moscow and Kuala Lumpur. The parties agreed to establish closer cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the Committee for the relationship with Malaysia, D.Ogurtsov, the project manager A.Bobylkina.
