On November 9, 2023, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), the Chairman of the Guild of Commerce Russia-APR A.Karpov took part in the Plenary Session of the Joint Russian-Malaysian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

During the event, the parties discussed strategic directions of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, as well as in the field of education. Following the meeting, the Protocol of the 2nd meeting of the Joint Russian-Malaysian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was signed.

The Chairmen of the Russian and Malaysian sides of the Intergovernmental Commission are V.N. Falkov, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia.
